Apricot Fruit Needs Little Thinning

Apricot fruit doesn't need thinning....or does it?
Remove deformed fruit or fruit that has set too close together. You will know they are too close if they will push each other off of the tree when they get larger.
This apricot fruit will begin to push each other off of the tree as they get larger.
Just enough fruit was removed to give the remaining fruit some room to grow and expand without knocking each other off. Some varieties of apricot have plenty of room for their fruit to expand. Other varieties will set their fruit too close together.
