A. Now
for most of November is a great time if you can find them. Make sure to amend
the soil with good compost and water thoroughly each day for several days in a
row and then turn it over to your drip system. Before they start growing next
spring, cut them back to about an inch and a half above the soil, fertilize
them and give them a good drink.
