Lots of videos to pick from on Gardening in the Desert. Most of them are about pruning and managing fruit trees. Recently I posted some videos from our family farm in the Philippines.

You can also find them by entering "Youtube" and either "Bob Morris" or "Xtremehorticulture" in your favorite search engine whether that is Google, Firefox or Bing. Xtremehorticulture is better because there are alot of Bob Morris' out there!

  1. How can I tell if my camphor tree is healthy? I bought it from Moon nurseries and a year ago. Leaves were dark green. The leaves are currently more light green and I don’t know if it’s getting too much water?

    1. A common complaint coming from people who have used that nursery is the method used for planting. Which I understand is a separate planting crew from the nursery. Those crews typically dig a hole large enough for the plant and the box and that's all. Usual recommendations are to dig the hole wide and not necessarily deep unless there's a drainage problem. Holes are dug three times though diameter of the width of the container. Soil is then amended with something to keep it loose. The amendment is usually not the problem. It's the width of the whole that's a problem.
