ReplyDeleteThat is correct. The Center houses the UNCE Orchard. The Center is just north of the Aliante Development in North Las Vegas. Take North Decatur north like you are going to Shadow Ridge High School. Before you get to SRHS, turn right on Horse Drive. Travel about 400 yards to the entrance to the UNLV Center which would be on your left (North side of Horse Drive).

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for recommending the UNR experimental orchard. They had an event there last evening--cactus sale and lecture on growing melons in the desert and scorpions. The Director is still singing your praises and commented that you had designed the vineyard, which I thought was the most impressive part of the orchard. The grapes are beautiful and I was salivating at the thoughts of getting a few cuttings off the Italian Wine Grape number 5--never seen such large grapes in the desert.
Hope you are being safe in Afghanistan.
